Terms of Use for GameDexs

Welcome to GameDexs (the "Service"), operated by GameDexs ("we," "us," or "our"), a company registered in Malaysia. By accessing or using our website, mobile application, or any related services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, logging in, or otherwise using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required under Malaysian law for digital consent) and that you accept and agree to comply with these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any other applicable policies. Parents or guardians are responsible for monitoring minors’ use of the Service.

2. Description of Service

GameDexs is an online multiplayer platform that allows users to play fun, interactive party card games in real-time with friends or other players worldwide. Features may include:

  • Creating or joining private or public game rooms
  • In-game chat and social interaction
  • User profiles, avatars, and achievements
  • Custom card decks (if permitted)
  • In-app purchases or premium features (if applicable)

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without prior notice.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features, you may need to register an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Keep your login credentials secure and confidential
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. User Conduct

You agree not to:

We reserve the right to investigate, warn, suspend, or permanently ban accounts violating these rules.

5. Intellectual Property Rights – Ownership by GameDexs

All content, features, and materials available on the Service are the exclusive property of GameDexs or its licensors and are protected under Malaysian and international intellectual property laws, including copyright, trademark, and design laws.

Specifically, the following are owned by and reserved to GameDexs:

  • All game artworks, illustrations, animations, and visual designs
  • Game logos, branding elements, and trademarks
  • Gameplay mechanics, rules, logic, algorithms, and system architecture
  • Source code, software, databases, and technical infrastructure
  • Audio, music, sound effects, and voiceovers
  • Original card content, themes, and narrative elements

You acknowledge that no title or ownership rights are transferred to you under these Terms. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works, or commercially exploit any part of the Service without prior written permission from GameDexs.

6. User-Generated Content (If Applicable)

If the Service allows users to create and submit custom content (e.g., custom card decks), you retain ownership of your original content. However, by submitting it, you grant GameDexs a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, and sublicensable license to use, display, modify, and distribute such content within the Service.

We reserve the right to review, edit, or remove any user-generated content that violates these Terms, Malaysian law, or community standards.

7. In-App Purchases & Virtual Goods (If Applicable)

  • The Service may offer virtual currency, premium features, cosmetic items, or subscriptions for purchase ("Virtual Goods").
  • All purchases are final and non-refundable, except where required by Malaysian consumer protection laws.
  • Virtual Goods are licensed, not sold, and are for personal, non-commercial use only.
  • We may modify, discontinue, or change Virtual Goods at any time.
  • Prices are in MYR (Malaysian Ringgit) unless otherwise stated and are subject to change with notice.

8. Privacy

Your use of the Service is governed by our Privacy Policy, which complies with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA) of Malaysia. It explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information. Please review it carefully.

9. Third-Party Services

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We DISCLAIM LIABILITY for any consequences arising from network delays, server outages, or user misuse.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY MALAYSIAN LAW, GameDexs AND ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR USE, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED RINGGIT (RM100) OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE PAST SIX MONTHS, WHICHEVER IS HIGHER.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless GameDexs and its officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your infringement of any third-party rights
  • Any content you submit or transmit

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account or access to the Service at any time, with or without cause or notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms. You may delete your account at any time via your account settings. Termination does not relieve you of responsibilities accrued prior to termination.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes through in-app notifications, email, or prominent website banners. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia, located in Kuala Lumpur.
